January is the perfect time to adjust and set new goals for the New Year! Below is a list of the goals that I am setting out to accomplish this month.

💜 MAKE A 2024 VISION BOARD

The start of the new year is a great time to do this activity as we are already in the frame of mind to reevaluate our goals and set new ones.

📖 READ AT LEAST 10 PAGES PER DAY 📚

I plan to accomplish this by reading before bed. In 10 days, I will have read 100 pages, and by the end of January, I will have read 310 pages... no more excuses as to why I didn’t get through reading a book. LOL

January 2024 Goals

💦 DRINK RECOMMENDED AMOUNT OF WATER PER DAY

Water is life! Our bodies can’t function without it. In addition to consuming the recommended amount of water daily, I will also be aware of my electrolytes. Water alone does not contain enough electrolytes. Electrolytes can be found in foods like bananas, avocados, and nuts. They can also be obtained from electrolyte-enhanced drinks. Electrolytes are critical for proper hydration.

⏰ WAKE UP AT 6 AM M-F

There was a time when this idea wouldn’t even been a thought, let alone a goal. However, over the years, I have found that I enjoy getting up early and starting my day.

📱 🖥️ NO PHONE OR COMPUTER IN THE FIRST HOUR OF WAKING UP

Imagine starting the day without being bombarded by notifications and emails as soon as you get up. I believe that setting aside my phone and computer for the first hour after waking up will have a positive impact on my day, allowing me to have a clear mind to set my focus and intentions.

💪 TEACH MORE VIRTUAL LIVE CLASSES!!

Yay! What a time we are living in to be blessed with the technology to teach live virtual fitness classes. Feel free to check out our class schedule and on-demand classes. I can't wait to see you in class!

🧘‍♀️ 90 SECONDS OF DAILY DEEP BREATHING

Taking this small amount of time to breathe deeply is such a powerful way to reconnect with yourself and find balance. I plan to implement this first thing in the morning while my environment is distraction-free from technology.
